Montserrat, nicknamed the emerald isle, is a beautiful location over looking beauty on all sides. When searching for my honeymoon, I was compelled to search here as the pictures that I found were breath taking. I noticed as I searched that the ending of all the local businesses web sites ended with some sort of ms domain. Ms Domains, as I later learned are part of a relatively new type of distinguishing factor between different country's Internet web sites. Different territories, like the island of Montserrat , have developed codes that they will use in place of the traditional dot com that was once the only option for web page endings. In researching this, I found that seeing an ms domain also tells us that the location where this particular web site is being run from, namely where the Internet server is located is in Montserrat.

This new addition of the option of ms domains, helps companies with in Montserrat attain the World Wide Web site domain names that once were in use when the only ending option was the dot com. This broadens the pool for ideas that companies might need or want for labeling their business as with the dot com era, most all popular and generic World Wide Web site domain names were taken and not an option.
